As per the decision of the Staff Council Meeting held on dt.28.11.2025 under the chairmanship of Principal in Smart Classroom-2& Notice No.018, dtd. 03.01.2026 of Principal, the51stAnnual Sports Meet (+3 wing) for the academic session 2025-26 was held on dt.09.01.2026 & 10.01.2026. The Annual Sports Meet was held under the direct supervision and guidance of Dr. Sakuntala Jena, Principal. Sri Udhaba Mallick &Dr. Pankaj Barik (OIC, Sports) acted as overall in-charge of the said Annual Sports Meet. The indoor games and girls common room events of the said Annual Meet was on dt. 09.01.2026 in which various games like cricket, slow cycling, chess, hand wrestling, football, carrom, kabaddi, badminton (singles & doubles) and skipping was conducted among the interested students with the judgeship of different faculty members and the outdoor/ track and field events followed by prize distribution and closing ceremony was held on dt. 10.01.2026.The sports event was inaugurated by the Principal Dr. Sakuntala Jena and different outdoor/track & field events was conducted by the PET Sri Baikuntha Bihari Sahaniwith the active support of all the faculty members of Dhenkanal Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Dhenkanal. Various track and field events was conducted among the interested students of +3 wing like shot put, discuss throw, 100meters race, 200 meters race, long jump, high jump etc. followed by certificate & prize distribution (Medals and trophies) among the winners of both indoor games and outdoor games( track& field events). For smooth conduct of the sports events among students all type of arrangement was made like fast aid kit, Glucon-D, drinking water and refreshments for students and staff members. The prize distribution and Closing Ceremony of the 51th Annual Meet 2025-26 was held under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Sakuntala Jena and in coordination of Sri Udhaba Mallick & Pankaj Barik(OIC Sports).Dr. Antaryami Samal, Retd. CDMO and G.B member of Dhenkanal Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Dhenkanal graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the prizes(Trophies & medals) and certificates among the winners of different events & volunteers. Miss Smrutipriya Naik, +3 1st year Arts student of History Department crowned as Champion of 51st Annual Sports Meet 2025-26 and was also felicitated by the Chief Guest and Principal. The Annual Sports Meet closing ceremony ended with vote of thanks to all by Dr. Pankaj Barik.
