DEPARTMENT OF SANSKRIT:

The Department of Sanskrit started it Honours programme in the year 1995. The Department offers Graduate course in Sanskrit. The Department has strength of 16 seats in Sanskrit Honours in an academic session. The Department has a seminar library from which books are issued to the students.  Seminars, projects and discussions are conducted for the students to enhance their knowledge and interest in this field. The department also conducts cultural activities and functions to motivate the students in developing their personality unleashing hidden talents. They also participate in sports, debates and N.S.S wings of the college and the teachers also play a vital role in guiding them to improve their attitude and standard to face and deal with the real life scenario. The students after passing from this institution pursue postgraduate studies and successfully reach their goals by absorbing better jobs. Many students of our Department are almost engaged in Secondary Education of Odisha as well as in Higher Education of Odisha and also in different job sectors.

Udhaba Mallick has completed his MA and MPhil from Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidayalaya, Puri.

Udhaba Mallick has completed his MA and MPhil from Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidayalaya, Puri. He has been teaching in Dhenkanal Mahila Mahavidyalaya since his joining the college in 2013. He has 9 years of teaching experience. He has attended 1 orientation programme at Sambalpur University in 2017. He is specialized in Panini Vyakaran.

Sulagna Ram has completed her BA from Rama Devi University, Bubaneswar in 2020 and MA from Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi in 2022. She has been teaching in Dhenkanal Mahila Mahavidyalaya since her joining the college in September 2023.
